There was a time when very few, if any at all, celebrities were open to the idea of having tattoos. But times, as Bob Dylan says, are a-changin’, and many stars are now falling over themselves getting some ink done. Come to think of it, images of celebrities living or dead have even become favorite tattoo designs these days. Certainly, tattoos have gone mainstream, and the growing number of celebs sporting tats proves just that.

Most fans show their loyalty to their celebrity idols by patronizing anything and everything that they churn out, from collectible merchandise to concerts and movies.

Is it even possible for these female stars to get any hotter? If the ink they’ve had done on their skin is any indication, the answer is a resounding yes!

1. Angelina Jolie

She is easily one of the most, if not the most-heavily tattooed A-list actress in Hollywood today. She has a dozen or so tattoos, the most prominent being the large tiger on her back, with a dragon tattoo underneath. Other tattoos include the phrase “Know your rights” between her shoulders just below her neck, a tilted Latin cross on the lower left side of her midsection and the Arabic term for “strength of will” on her right forearm. With her numerous body art, it wouldn’t be much of a surprise if she decides to get a tongue tattoo one day.

2. Drew Barrymore

Drew Barrymore reportedly has six tattoos. Her best-known tattoo is one of a butterfly on her stomach. She also has a bouquet of flowers on her hip, as well as two angels tattooed on her lower back.

3. Alyssa Milano

It may come as a surprise to many, especially those who religiously followed “Charmed”, that Alyssa Milano actually has six tattoos, which were said to have been concealed during the show’s entire run. She counts a sacred heart on her behind, an angel on her left ankle and rosary beads on her back among her tattoos.

These men are as hunky as any male celebrity could get. And they’ve gotten all the hunkier with ink on their skin.

1. Johnny Depp

Long before tattoos became mainstream, Johnny Depp already had ‘em. He claims to have so many tattoos that he’s already lost count, or something like that. Among his many tattoos are the names “Jack” on his forearm and “Lily Rose” over his heart, both names of his kids; a skull and crossbones with the phrase “death is certain” on one ankle’; and of course, there’s the famous “Wino Forever” tattoo on his bicep, which we all know is the result of what is probably the most famous case of tattoo removal ever.

2. David Beckham

Judging by his tattoos, this soccer superstar is a certified family man. Practically his entire family is inked on his skin, from the names of his sons Brooklyn and Romeo to a seven-inch naked tattoo of his wife Victoria.

3. Justin Timberlake

A number of Justin Timberlake’s tattoos are spiritual in nature, from the large cross tattoo on his upper left shoulder to the large image of a cherubic angel on his back, which is decidedly larger than the temporary tattoos that were done on him for the movie “Alpha Dog”
